Hello and welcome to the Bandon Taekwon-Do Academy, 2012,
Bandon's new full time training academy of Martial Arts, Sport and Fitness provides
an extensive list of classes in Taekwon-Do, Boxing and Kickboxing. We have found
that our teaching methods allow all students to enjoy training in age-specific
classes and programmes, while developing confidence through fitness, self-
defence skills and competition. The benefits of membership to the Bandon
Taekwon-Do Academy are; access to the Irish Taekwon-Do Association(ITA) and
Allstyles Kickboxing Association of Ireland (AKAI) events; intern access to all
International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and World Association of Kickboxing
Organizations (WAKO) events.
We here at the Bandon Taekwon-do Academy offer students a healthy alternative
to the many unhealthy activities arising far too rapidly in modern society. Students
of all ages get to put their focus on meeting new people and improving their health
in a fun, creative and controlled environment. The amenities available at this new
Academy: a fully matted training area, a row of punch and kick bags, an extensive
range of training equipment, a 20 foot boxing ring, assembled for weekend training
sessions, changing rooms and shower, student's waiting room & relaxation area
with armchairs, sofa and a big screen TV.
There are so many reasons to join us; come and learn a martial art, try a new
sport, develop self-defence skills, improve your fitness and meet new people.
Learning respect for others is an important part of these disciplines. Our teaching
methods produce confident, respectful, courteous and self-disciplined younger
students, as well as, fit, talented and educated older students. We offer all of this
and more in the safe and fun environment of the Bandon Taekwon-Do Academy,
with fully qualified, professional and friendly Coaches.
